Meet
Diane Cormier serves as the Ministry Events & Outreach Director for Welcome Ministries. In her role, she is honored to create spaces where people can gather, fellowship, and build relationships to advance the Kingdom of God. Diane is passionate about seeing people find healing and providing environments that encourage that transformation. She believes that having an awe of God experience is empowering and necessary in today’s society.
As part of her responsibilities, Diane organizes outreach events by collaborating with community partners to plan and execute impactful gatherings. She also researches properties, manages costs, and conducts lease agreements with the support of the leadership team.
Diane's faith journey deepened when she became a young wife at the age of 21. Inspired by the loving household her adopted parents created for her, she wanted to model the same for her own family. Growing up with a mother who was a choir director, Diane spent her childhood and much of her adult life singing in choirs and attending church. God has continually placed her in environments that have nurtured her spiritual growth.
Her heart is devoted to helping others find healing and freedom by connecting them with communities that offer therapy, Bible studies, and small groups. For Diane, nothing is more fulfilling than witnessing people evolve and grow through Christ, ultimately living free.

Her favorite scripture 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
This verse reminds her that when life becomes overwhelming, she can cast her cares on God, and He will handle them.

A fun fact about Diane is that she loves creating line dances with her daughters as a fun exercise activity, spreading love and joy to others through dancing.
